LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) was an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James has been widely recognized as being the greatest of all time basketball players. Michael Jordan is usually considered when discussing which is the most outstanding player. James won two Olympic golds and four NBA championships. James holds the record for having the top score of points in the post-season, second best overall career score and 7th most career assists. In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was chosen for the NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. James has played in the ten NBA Finals the third most all time including eight consecutively between the years of 2011 and 2018. James made his way onto the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, James became the first NBA player to score 10,000 points in his career. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High school in Akron in Ohio. The school was recognized by national media as the future NBA superstar. As a prep-to-pro player, he was picked to the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall selection in 2003's NBA draft. In his time as the NBA rookie of the year 2004, he established his name quickly as one the top players in the league. receiving the NBA MVP awards for the 2009 and 2010 seasons.
