LeBron Raymone James Sr. born on December 30, 1984, is an American professional basket ball player for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). King James is widely regarded as one of the best basketball players. He is often compared with Michael Jordan when discussing the most famous basketball player. James was awarded two Olympic golds, as well as four NBA titles. James is the player with the most points during the playoffs, and has the second highest number of career points and is seventh in career assists. Alongside being an NBA All-Star, James was selected to an NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. He has competed in 10 NBA Finals the third most all time including eight consecutively between 2011 and the year 2018. James joined his way onto the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, James became the very first NBA player to reach 10,000 points in his career. James played basketball for St. Vincent-St. Mary High in Akron Ohio, where he was raised. The national media praised him as a potential NBA superstar. In 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first during the NBA draft, as a pre-pro. In his time as the NBA rookie of the year 2004 he established himself rapidly as one of the best players in the league. earning the NBA MVP awards for 2009 and 2010.
